A design portfolio, not a real practice
Sagebrook Pediatrics is a fictional pediatric practice, created to show what a clear, trustworthy website for a real one could look like. It provides no medical care.

What this is
This website is a portfolio demonstration by Omayer Hamdi, a web designer and developer. It shows how an independent pediatric practice could present its care, answer the questions parents ask most, and meet U.S. healthcare accessibility and privacy standards. Sagebrook Pediatrics does not exist, and no one can book, visit or be treated here.
What is invented
- The practice, its name, its history and its policies
- Every provider and staff member, their biographies and the “reviewed by” names on articles
- Any quotes or reviews
- The phone and fax numbers, which use the 555-01xx range set aside for fictional use, and the email addresses
- The suite. The street address is a real street in downtown Bend, used so the map works. No practice operates there.
Please do not call, write to or visit any of these as if they were real.
What is drawn from real sources
The health guidance was written from published sources, mainly the American Academy of Pediatrics (HealthyChildren.org), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Oregon Health Authority. The medicine dosing charts were transcribed from the American Academy of Pediatrics charts. References to Oregon and federal law were checked against official sources when they were written.
None of it has been reviewed by a clinician for this site, and none of it is medical advice. For a question about your own child, call your child’s doctor. In an emergency, call 911.
The photographs
The provider portraits and most of the scenes were generated with AI and edited to match the brand. A few are licensed stock photographs. None shows a real patient.
The forms
The visit request form works, and its messages reach the designer, not a clinic. Please do not send real health information through it. The form does not save requests on the website: each one arrives by email and is deleted after review, and the site’s email log keeps its own copy for 30 days, then deletes it automatically.
How it was made

- Typefaces: Fraunces and DM Sans, under the SIL Open Font License, served from this site
- Icons: Phosphor Icons, under the MIT License
- Built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. See the Accessibility Statement.
