The people who will know your child.
Three pediatricians, two pediatric nurse practitioners and a physician assistant. The same faces, visit after visit.
Will we see the same provider?
Yes, for the most part. You are assigned a primary provider at the first visit, and well-child visits are booked with them by default. Want someone else? Tell the front desk. No reason needed.
Same-day sick visits are the exception. Those go to whoever has a morning slot open, and they send a note to your provider the same day.
Spoken here
Spanish with Dr. Ruiz Carver and two of the front desk staff. Tamil and Hindi with Dr. Raghunathan.
Any other language: we book a phone interpreter, at no cost to you. Say so when you call and we will hold the extra time.

He leads asthma and allergy care, and runs spirometry here rather than sending you across town for a breathing test. He coaches middle-school cross-country, and thinks a child with asthma should be out running.

Most of our teenagers see her: mood, sleep, eating, contraception, and the year a fifteen-year-old stops talking. She is the one who will ask you to step out for part of the visit, and who tells you first exactly what she can keep confidential.

We stayed independent because it is the only way I know to keep a thirty-minute appointment thirty minutes long.

Nine years as an emergency department nurse before she went back to school, which shows on the mornings four sick visits arrive at once. If you cannot tell whether this is serious, she is the one to get on the phone.

The team you do not see
Most of the friction in American healthcare happens at the front desk and in the billing office. Here are the people, by name.
Scheduling, and anything that has gone wrong twice.
Sends the records, books the specialist, follows up after.
They answer at 8:00 am and hold the same-day slots.
Vitals, vaccines, hearing and vision screening.
